David LyngModernizing the communications system for the area's largest real estate company is no small task. David Lyng's requirements included an update of the data network systems to provide high speed Internet for each agent. Also, the telecommunications system was upgraded to a Voice over IP based solution, engineered to provide direct lines to each employee and agent, as well as the ability to forward calls anywhere off premise. The most complex aspect of this system was to seamlessly link all four offices together with centralized voice mail, intercom and receptionist. Agents often times relocate to different offices. The system had to support the relocation of any extension number to any location within the David Lyng network.
