Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program

Ryan Adragna, an inside account manager with The Maynard Group, embarked on an ambitious goal to lead our entire company to becoming a certified Green Business during the Summer of 2008.  He organized the re-outfitting of the electrical lighting systems, restroom facilities and kitchen, upgrading the dumpsters, inspection of the drainage around the building, improved recycling methods and also setup an ongoing training program for fellow staff members.

Today, thanks to Ryan's dedicated efforts, we are officially a "Certified Green Business" and all of us have a heightened awareness to the importance of reducing our impact on the environment.  Additionally, these actions have started to save us money. The new lighting and bathroom fixtures alone will save several thousand dollars per year!
